SEO WordPress Website for WVRC

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center is a 24-hour animal hospital offering emergency and specialty pet care. They have three fully staffed facilities in Wisconsin, one in Waukesha, another in Grafton, and a third in Racine. The owners of WVRC reached out to Matt Gerber Designs with a need to transition their existing website from an aging CMS (Concrete 5). They were looking for something that would allow them to make easier updates, that could grow with their business, and would provide a better user experience.

It was extremely important to WVRC that whatever solution Matt Gerber Designs developed for them that it did not interfere with their current SEO. Their previous website ranked very well for a number of keywords and it was important that the new website continue to rank well.

We ended up building them a WordPress website. While we weren’t able to change content—we did make some strong visual updates to the design that helped with the overall user experience. Our WordPress website developer paid very special care during the porting to WordPress to maintain their strong SEO rankings for certain keywords.
