UX Website Design for Sun Prairie Food Pantry

There’s nothing we love more than repeat customers and referrals and that’s just how we got the pleasure of working with Sun Prairie Food Pantry on their new UX website. We previously designed a website for Sunshine Place, a community outreach center just outside the Madison, WI metro. Sun Prairie Emergency Food Bank is a partner agency that is run out of the Sunshine Place.

To help make a better user experience for visitors and donors and to help establish the connection between these two non-profits, we used a similar feel and layout for the design of the two sites. User experience continued to be top of mind as we talked about the challenges Sun Prairie Food’s visitors face and how the website needed to function. The goal was to make it as simple as possible for them to find the information they needed.

A simple and clear navigation using very direct labels for the menus, a calendar, search feature, designated a place on each page for hours and brightly colored buttons to call out donations and volunteer links were all part of the UX design we developed for them.
