Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce Website Design

The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce website was the second Chamber website in Wisconsin’s Lake Country we’ve had the pleasure of working on. Both Chambers were in similar situations, with outdated websites that were doing little to attract new members, help area businesses and increase tourists.

The Oconomowoc Area Chamber knew they needed to modernize their online presence with a new design, but like most Chambers, their member and event information is handled through a third-party content management system, which made them hesitant to redesign. They needed reassurance that the two content management systems would be compatible and that there wouldn’t be a disconnect between the two designs.

When they heard about our success with the other Chamber’s website, they were eager to see what we would come up with for them. We were able to design a custom website that seamlessly integrated the two CMS platforms while updating the look and feel of their website. We reorganized a few pages in the navigation to make it more user friendly and had our team perform onsite optimization to help with their search rankings. The result was a stunning combination of form and functionality that positioned the Oconomowoc Area Chamber as a leading authority for area businesses.
