Stunning Web Design for Natural Look Salon & Wigs

Julie McCormick is a clinical cosmetologist and owner of Natural Look Salon and Wigs, a company offering salon and wig services to clients with cancer, alopecia and thinning hair. Julie came to Matt Gerber Designs looking for help redesign her beauty service website. 

A huge part of her business is to help her clients feel more like themselves and embrace their true beauty. In order to better meet the needs of her clients, Julie no longer wanted an ecommerce website to sell wigs but wanted to create a personalized experience for her clients that would be by appointment only.

We began by designing an entirely new homepage and structure for the website that focused on the client, their needs and the services Natural Look Salon and Wigs provided. Salon services and education on hair loss were given greater prominence in the navigation. However, wigs were still going to be a big part of her beauty services and therefore we needed to find a way to incorporate them into her website. 

Rather than having them appear in an ecommerce portion of the website, we created a gallery where they could be viewed by type. The phone number as well as prominent request appointment buttons were placed throughout the site to capture leads.
