Ecommerce Website for Mintek

Mintek is one of the sister websites we developed for the Sussex, WI based company, Vaportek. This was an existing product line of theirs that utilized their dry vapor technology as a natural pest and rodent deterrent. Once again, we carried over the design of the top menu bar to create consistency between the brands but made changes the layout, color and tone to emphasis the Mintek branding.

We created a professional looking WordPress ecommerce website that would instill trust in the product as well as the checkout process, while also finding ways to lighten the tone. First, we switched out the colors for a fresh, green blue that matched the Mintek logo and balanced this with lots of white space to create a bright and clean design for the website. Bright “shop now” buttons were placed throughout the homepage to draw the user’s eye and entice them to click. While innocent images of mice and a playful video featuring reviews by cartoon pests highlighted the benefits of the non-lethal pest deterrent. We then created a thorough FAQ to answer any questions visitors might have about the product and used the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress to create a secure checkout that offers several payment options and a user login.
