Michael Wilkes is an extremely talented business coach who specializes in assisting closely held businesses and non-profit boards in transition. With his specialized, focused coaching service, the quality of leads he gets is far more important than quantity. Michael turned to Matt Gerber Designs and our expertise in the business coaching industry to design a website that would help him generate leads from his target businesses.

Since Michael’s own expertise is in such a niche market, we knew a generic business coaching website wasn’t going to cut it. We did a deep dive into his business to determine what makes it unique and focused our efforts on designing a website that would play to his strengths and establish his authority.

We highlighted information about Michael, his strategies and the pain points his coaching addresses right on the homepage. This was done to appeal straight to his target audience and weed out anyone not looking for his specific consulting services. This created a rather content heavy website, so we used design to our advantage.

Pictures, icons, bullet points, links, calls to action, white space and testimonials were strategically placed to add interest, break up copy and make it easier for visitors to digest. We also made sure that Michael’s phone number was prominently displayed, enticing interested visitors to make that first call to connect.
