Ecommerce Website for Jim Thellefsen Designs

Jim Thellefsen is an artisan craftsman who makes exotic wood table lamps. He came to Matt Gerber Designs looking for a website that would not only showcase his incredible works of art, but also function as an ecommerce website so he could sell his lamps online.

Jim’s lamps are exquisite, and he wanted a website that would highlight their beauty without out shining his product. We kept the design of the site extremely clean and simple for a classic, high-end feel that would complement his uniquely crafted lamps and appeal to his target audience. The content was kept to a minimum to keep the focus on the pictures of his products.

Using WordPress, we built out the small website and used WooCommerce for the ecommerce portion. This allowed a seamless integration of the online shopping experience, even allowing us to showcase the lamps directly on the homepage with one-click shopping. Jim was able to accept the payment options he wanted and instill buying confidence with secure Apple Pay and credit card orders. For those seeking more information, we included his email and a contact form as well as links to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
