WordPress Website Showroom for Ginseng Board of Wisconsin

Matt Gerber Designs was hired to create the official Wisconsin Ginseng Showroom for the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin. This was a unique site to work on because the purpose behind was so genuine. Wisconsin is a huge supplier of ginseng and the Covid-19 pandemic has made it extremely difficult for the Wisconsin ginseng farmers to sell their ginseng. So, the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin decided to have this showroom website made so that companies interested in purchasing authentic Wisconsin ginseng can do so without traveling.

The main purpose of this new website was to provide a way for the farmers to showcase and sell their products virtually without any face to face interact. To accomplish that goal, they not only needed photos of each lot but videos in both English and Chinese as well. In addition to the showroom, they also wanted to site to promote and educate others about Wisconsin ginseng.

We knew we had a lot of products to showcase and a lot of media work in, so we decided to go with a custom WordPress website. Setting the showroom up like a typical ecommerce website worked perfectly to organize and display the products. The site is a true extension of the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin, pulling elements from the existing branding as well as continuing the mission of representing all Wisconsin ginseng growers.
