Website Design for Del-Hart WPCC

The Delafield-Hartland Water Pollution Control Commission supplies the cities of Hartland, Delafield and surrounding areas with wastewater collection, treatment and disposal services. Information about the commission could be found on each municipal government website but they were interested in their own, separate website.

A dedicated website just for the Del-Hart WPCC allowed the commission to dive deeper into their services, purpose and conservation efforts as well as put them in control of the information they shared with the public. We created a small WordPress website for the commission with informational pages for about, services, FAQ and meetings. Using WordPress for the content management system provided an easy-to-use interface so they could confidently make meeting agenda and minute updates themselves.

For the design, we created a contemporary yet professional website that relied on blues, greys and a bit of gold from their logo. We balanced water backgrounds with lots of open white space for a clean look and feel and added photos of the communities they serve. This visually enforced their clean water efforts as well as their dedication to the local Delafield and Hartland area.
