Website Redesign for Cozy Nook Farm

Cozy Nook is a working dairy farm in Waukesha, Wisconsin with about 65 cows. They offer educational tours and open a seasonal market to sell pumpkins and Christmas trees every year. They had a rather old and outdated website that was getting the job done until recently when Wisconsin family farms with fall markets and activities experienced a recent uptick in popularity. 

Compared to the new competition, Cozy Nook Farm’s website was starting to look painfully outdated, and it was reflecting poorly on their farm and seasonal market. They realized it didn’t matter how cute, cozy or friendly their farm and market were in person, if visitors to their website weren’t getting the same impression. In order to stay competitive and drive new visitors to their farm, they need to redesign their existing website. 

That’s where Matt Gerber Designs came in. We worked to redesign their website in a way that would revamp their business image, giving web visitors the right first impression of their farm. The new design would align with their business goals and put them back on the Wisconsin fall farm tour map. We created a warm, welcoming design that reflected their business model. We moved the navigation to a more user-friendly location and made sure the most sought-after information could be easily found. We developed the website using WordPress which provided an easy-to-use interface for updates and maintenance as well as easy integration of a calendar app for upcoming events and contact forms to schedule tours.
