WooCommerce Website for CastinCrete Designs

A few years ago, Dwight Ingalls started making concrete fire bowl features. He built a simple website to sell his fire bowls and grow his business, but soon realized he needed help. If he was going to get serious about his business, he needed a real e-commerce website and turned to the website designers and development team at Matt Gerber Designs.

When Dwight first came to us, he didn’t have a name for his business yet, but we were more than happy to help him through the whole process. We began by brainstorming together, getting to know Dwight, his business objectives and his product. Once we had a name, we secured his domain and designed a logo. We also provided content writing for the website, helping create his brand and tell his story.

For the design, we went with a classic, professional look and feel that would instill trust in his business but stay true to his handcrafted product. At the top of the homepage, we featured a big banner image to showcase his work and added other smaller pictures of the products and his process throughout the site. We peppered the site with bold shop now buttons, enticing visitors to view his products.

We developed the e-commerce portion of the site using WooCommerce. The ecommerce platform pairs seamlessly with WordPress and is easy to use. It offers a user-friendly checkout process that is clean, clear and trustworthy. It allowed them to collect payment via Clover Payments, PayPal and Venmo, once again instilling trust and giving visitors purchasing confidence.
