Energetic Website Design for Blue Sky Breath

Blue Sky Breath is a wellness and breathwork company that offers adventure retreats and breathwork sessions with the goal of helping others breathe purpose and joy into their lives. It was founded by Carrie Schaal after she discovered the life-altering power of breathwork and needed to find a way to share it with others.

When she came to Matt Gerber Designs and shared her vision for her new company, we couldn’t wait to be a part of it. The energy and excitement she had was contagious and it carried over into our work designing and developing her custom WordPress website.

The main purpose of the website was get people to sign up for her retreats and breathwork sessions, but it was equally important to Carrie to share her experience and teach others about breathwork and the science behind it. The challenge was to find a way to balance everything.

We used energetic pictures of people as well as nature shots to capture the adventure and spirit of her business. We used a blue color scheme that was taken directly from her logo and paired it with lots of clean, refreshing white space to signify the breath. We put in lots of links and calls to action to books sessions and retreats but put her about page and breath page first in the navigation.
