Wedding Venue Website for The Bowery Barn

The Bowery Barn is a beautiful rustic wedding and event venue in Rubicon, Wisconsin. It recently changed ownership. The new owners decided to make a few changes to the venue and that included revamping the website. We’d worked with the couple that purchased the venue on a previous business venture of theirs and were thrilled to be chosen to help them with this one as well.

The biggest shift in their marketing plan was to focus almost exclusively on weddings. We began by re-writing the website copy to brand the venue as a rustic and elegant wedding venue. We chose a romantic script font along with soft, rounded edges and lots of clean, white space to enhance this fairytale feel.

To really showcase the property and help visitors envision their own dream wedding, we used a lot of wedding photos of the venue. We chose to used a scrolling photo gallery which allowed many photos to be used for each space without cluttering the look and feel of the website. We also embedded a calendar so visitors can see any available dates as far out as possible, and the website seamlessly links up with their existing booking software for scheduling tours.
