Custom Business Website for Dovetail Advocacy

Dovetail Advocacy for Older Adults is a heartwarming new business that hopes to make getting older just a little bit easier. Their goal is to work with aging adults and their family to identify goals, acknowledge needs in order to help them find good fit care services and supports so they can continue to enjoy life as long as possible. It was a new business idea from Stacey LaFlamme and we were thrilled to be a part of helping this new business take shape. 

Stacy came to us at the launch of her small business looking for a small website and a logo that would capture the essence of her business idea. Dealing with a very intimate service, making a personal connection through the website was a top priority. We went with a neutral, but warm color pallet, setting an inviting but still clean and professional tone, similar to what you might expect from a health care facility to truly capturing that caring and care giving feel. Every photo we chose showed real people making connections to further capture that feeling. Even the icons that were chosen have either people or hands in them.

Connecting over the phone was the end goal, but since Dovetail’s offerings were a bit unique, we wanted to do what we could to field some of the inquiries that would come from those looking for other services. So, in addition to the services page, we included an FAQ. We also included a contact page in the top navigation, but her phone number was only placed at the bottom along with a simple contact form for potential clients to essentially request a call back as no email option was included.
