Log Kayak Rack is a company that makes and sells hand-crafted storage racks for kayaks, canoes and other small watercrafts in northern Wisconsin. They have years of experience designing and building these truly beautiful and high-quality storage racks out of cedar logs, but their website was outdated and no longer matched the quality of their product. 

In order to attract the types of people interested in purchasing their high-end product, they realized they needed an overhaul of their existing website. We’d worked with them in the past on another one of their eCommerce websites and were thrilled with the opportunity to do so again and really take this website to the next level. 

Their old website was build using WordPress and since WooCommerce, WordPress’s eCommerce platform, is easy-to-use and manage, we stuck with it for the redesign. They had a lot of great information on their site, but it wasn’t driving sales. So, we flipped the focus to emphasize the eCommerce aspect of the site. The new custom design is cleaner and easier to navigate. We broke up the long stretches of copy with enticing call-to-actions, added more product pictures and quick shopping links to help drive sales. 

The resulting redesign of their WordPress eCommerce site was just what they wanted. We were careful not to stray too far from their existing branding but still managed to upgrade the look and feel of the site so that it matched the quality of their product.
